Rosé Wines & Food Pairings

It’s Summer and Chef Cynthia wants to share a session of all things rosé with you.
This type of wine is known for its easy drinking, refreshing style. Rosé is the perfect wine to pair with ripe summer produce along with grilled foods.

We’ll taste a range of wines, grapes and types from all over the world
Pink Sparkling from California

  • Corsican Vin Gris
  • Italian Bardolino Chiaretto
  • Tavel rosé from the grapes Cinsault and Grenache
  • Portuguese Rose from the grape Touriga Nacional
  • Brachetto di Acqui, a lovely sweet sparkler from Piedmont

Rosés pair wonderfully with cheeses, depending on their base grapes and style.
Chef will offer a variety goat, sheep, cow and buffalo cheeses

  • Fresh and Aged Goat Cheeses
  • Triple Cream Brie
  • Mixed Milk Rochetta
  • Appenzeller Swiss
  • Aged Spanish Mahon
  • Buffalo Taleggio
  • Chef Cynthia’s Old School Jams
  • Curried Apricot Mustard
  • Rose and Rose Jelly
  • Peach and Hatch Chili Chutney

The Snacks for this session will be outstanding; bright, delicious and full of Summer flavor.

  • Chef’s classic Salmon Rillettes
  • Gold Tomato Soup with sheep’s milk cheese cream
  • Corn, Fava Bean and Smoked Chicken Salad
  • Sliced Chorizo
  • Strawberry Rhubarb Tart
